1st stage - Sediment filter

In the first stage, the water passes through the polypropylene (PP) filter with a permeability of 5μm (1 micron = 1 thousandth of a millimeter). In this stage, soil, dirt, rust, and mud are retained.

It protects the activated carbon filters found in the next water filtration stages.

2nd stage - Primato ULTRA CTO 5μm

4th stage - 50GPD Reverse osmosis membrane

The membrane has a permeability of 0.0001 microns and a production of 50GPD (Gallons Per Day), which means 189 liters per day.

Reduces salts, nitrates, chromium, arsenic, poisons, microbes, and bacteria.

It has international certifications.

The water is then stored in the tank. The tank is NSF 58 certified as well as NSF 61. Once you open the faucet, the water will pass through the fifth and sixth filtration stages.

5th stage - Enrichment of minerals and trace elements

In the fifth stage, the water is enriched with minerals and trace elements. After enrichment, the water has ideal proportions of minerals necessary for the healthy development of the human body.

It adds the following:

Cations

  • Calcium-34mg/L. Calcium is an essential element for bones and teeth. It regulates the heart and arteries and helps in the proper digestion of food.
  • Magnesium-12mg/L. Magnesium is involved in 300 different biochemical processes in the human body. It helps the immune system and proper blood circulation.
  • Sodium-22mg/L. Sodium regulates the absorption system of water by our body.
  • Potassium-8.5mg/L. Acts as an electrolyte and is required to maintain the good condition of the heart, brain, kidneys, muscle tissue, and other important organ systems of our body. It works with sodium to perform some critical body functions.

Anions

  • Carbonate CO32-: 10mg/l. Its presence in our body is particularly important as it regulates the acidic environment.
  • Sulfate SO42-: 0.3mg/l. Sulfate contributes to nutrient absorption, helps combat migraines, and detoxifies.
  • Chlorides Cl-: 0.8mg/l. It is an essential electrolyte found in all body fluids that is responsible for maintaining acid/base balance, transmitting nerve impulses, and regulating fluid inside and outside cells.
  • Fluoride F-: 0.06mg/l. Fluoride helps prevent tooth decay.

6th stage - Coconut shell activated carbon filter

In the sixth stage, we use a coconut shell activated carbon filter. This filter is used as a taste enhancer and performs a final filtration of the water before you drink it.

Certifications:

  • The reverse osmosis membrane is certified NSF/ANSI 58 "Reverse Osmosis Drinking Water Treatment Systems" with the manufacturer's code. Look it up on NSF with the name of the manufacturer Easywell Water Systems, Inc.
  • The water tank is certified NSF/ANSI 58 "Reverse Osmosis Drinking Water Treatment Systems" as well as NSF/ANSI/CAN 61 "Drinking Water System Components - Health Effects". Look it up with the name of the manufacturer TankPAC.
  • All safety fittings are manufactured in South Korea by DMfit. They are NSF/ANSI/CAN 61 certified and suitable for contact with water and food. Look them up on NSF with the company name DMT Co., Ltd.
  • The tubes are manufactured in South Korea by DMfit. They are NSF/ANSI/CAN 61 certified and suitable for contact with water and food. Look them up on NSF with the company name DMT Co., Ltd.
  • The equipment complies with the Government Gazette 4973/Β/2020 - "Specifications and requirements for equipment (devices or arrangements) for the treatment of water for human consumption supplied to the internal water supply networks of buildings".
  • Primato maintains a complete technical file for the equipment as well as for its consumables.
  • The final product assembly is done by our company. Primato is certified to the standard ΕΛΟΤ EN ISO 9001:2015 with the scope "Management of manufacturing, assembly, trade & distribution of water filters".

  • Its total height from the kitchen counter to the highest point of the device is 24cm. (useful height, counter-spout, 18.50cm)
  • It can be installed either on the kitchen counter or on the sink if there is enough space.
  • It provides you with filtered water instantly.
  • For faucet installation, you will need to make a hole approximately 2cm in diameter.
  • It is made of high-quality materials to withstand time.

The electric water pump helps to fill the water tank faster. It also helps if you don't have good pressure in your network.

The pump has low-pressure protection (black component on the left in the photo). This component stops the pump operation when you have a water outage.

The other black component on the left in the photo is high-pressure protection. This stops the pump operation when the tank is full and starts it again when the tank starts to empty.

Ease of installation

The white tube connects to the water supply.

The red tube connects to the water tank.

The black tube connects to the kitchen drain.

The blue tube is the clean water and connects to the DELUXE 101 faucet or a three-way faucet.

"Who will install my filter?"

We have our own technicians in Athens, Thessaloniki, Piraeus, and Larisa. In these areas, we offer free installation for all filters over €100; for other products, our fees are always friendly. For other regions, please contact us and we’ll find the best solution for you.
Our technicians visit your location by appointment, at a day and time that suits you. During the visit, they measure your water pressure, show you how to change the filters, provide information about the device and replacement parts, and answer any questions you may have.

If you choose to install the filter yourself: Every device comes with detailed instructions, and we have made installation videos for all our filters, available on each product page. If you need help, just call us and an experienced technician will guide you step-by-step over the phone.

"How do I choose the right replacement filter for my area?"

The replacement filters included in your package are suitable for most areas of Greece, but your device is also compatible with many other filter types. On each product page, you’ll find all available replacement filters with photos, summaries, and links for more details. If you’re not sure which filter is best for your area, simply contact us—we’ll be happy to help!

"Should I choose a countertop or under-sink filter?"

This depends on your available kitchen space and your needs. Countertop filters can be connected by yourself in seconds, but they take up space on the counter. Under-sink filters save counter space but usually require installation by a technician or plumber.

"I don’t know if I need a single, double, or triple filter."

If your problem is just taste or odor, a single filter is enough. If you also have sediment, you need a double filter—first stage for sediment, second for carbon. If you have limescale, sediment, and bad taste, a triple filter is recommended. For wells, islands, or very challenging water, we suggest a reverse osmosis filter. If you’re not sure, just contact us!

"How will I remember when to change my filter?"

Leave it to us! We’ll call you when it’s time to change your filter.

"If a part of my filter breaks, do you have spare parts?"

We stock all spare parts for every device we sell.

"What does the warranty cover?"

Under-sink filters: The warranty covers the plastic housings (provided water pressure does not exceed device limits). Faucets and metal parts are covered for 2 years; stainless steel bases for 10 years.
Countertop filters: The warranty covers plastic parts; the faucet and diverter are covered for 2 years.
Tap filters: All plastic parts are covered for 10 years; diverter for 2 years.
Shipping: If your product arrives damaged, we’ll replace it at no cost.
Warranty conditions: Please use and maintain your filter as instructed, and change cartridges on time, using cartridges from Primato or an authorized retailer.

"I lost the wrench and can’t open my device to change the filter."

Πολύ γρήγορο μηχάνημα, ίσως βοηθάει και η αντλία. Τα φίλτρα επίσης φαίνονται να είναι πολύ ποιοτικά γιατί σε σχέση με το προηγούμενο μηχάνημα που είχαμε αποβάλλει λιγότερο νερό στην αποχεύτευση.
