HEAVY DUTY Water Filters

HEAVY DUTY filters are more resistant to water system pressure and much bigger in size, so they need rare replacement compared to conventional household filters. Some of them are specially designed to withstand hot water, some are 20 inches high, others are BIG BLUE, i.e. thicker, and some of them are both high and BIG BLUE. They are ideal for softener pre-filters, for cottages where there is plenty of soil in the water, for blocks of flats, detached houses, etc. Don't hesitate to contact us if you need help finding the right filter for you. We will be glad to assist you!

This water filter fits most whole house filtration systems available and is manufactured by the american Watts. It uses a next-generation technology which, unlike conventional softeners, requires no power to operate and does not exchange ions in the water. This eco-friendly technology is called T.A.C. (Template Assisted Crystallization).

How does TAC work? TAC consists of special granules that cause magnesium, calcium and bicarbonates to turn into small crystals. Once they merge, these crystals are detached from the TAC and released into the water. However, they are now quite large in size and are swept away by the impetus of water, ending up in the drainage instead of your appliances or pipes.

Replace once per year.
