Primato becomes official distributor of Watts Water Technologies

In June 2016 Primato Hellas became official distributor of Watts Water Technologies products.

Watts was created in 1874 by Joseph Watts and in the beginning the company was called the Watts Regulator Company. In the beginning, the company manufactured valves and pressure reduction valves that were widely used in boilers, kettles and burners.

After 1900 Watts introduced the revolutionary pressure relief valve. This technology prevented dangerous explosions of hot water from the boilers and burners of the time. Parallel technology has until now all kettles and burners in the world. In 1970 he introduced a new technology that revolutionized the water industry. He created a patent where he prevented contaminated water from entering the sources of drinking water. Since then, Watts has been developing new technologies around the water. Today it is one of the largest companies in the field of water filters.

Watts has a global presence. In Greece Watts products are now distributed by Primato Hellas.

Ηe has been Project Manager at Avery Dennison - Fastener Division in the UK. There, his main project was to redesign the company's products into new applications so as to become more environmentally friendly. Occasionally, universities and doctoral students request to use George Margiolos' articles in their research because of their quality and uniqueness.
