Water plays the most important part for the human body, but the needs of each person vary. There is no specific amount of water that a person should consume. It depends on many factors (health, activities, lifestyle).
Below we will give you some tips on how to consume more water and what benefits you will have:

In the morning:

  • You wake up, you are unbearably bored and the first thing that comes to mind is a quick cup of coffee. Wrong. Research has shown that a glass of lukewarm water with fresh lemon helps the organs function better. Lemon also has the ability to strengthen the immune system, helps digestion, destroys bacteria and detoxifies the body. Do you want more?
  • Include a bowl of milk and cereal in your breakfast. It contains about 87% water.
  • Take some water with you before you leave home for work. On the way until you arrive, drink it gradually. Always have a bottle of water with you as a reminder to drink water. Now if you do not work somewhere (which is unfortunately very likely in these times we live), do the same every time you have an outdoor job or go for a walk.

At work:

  • A large bottle full of water in the office is the best solution. Why? Because you will unconsciously drink it without realizing it. Make sure you refill it often while you are there.
  • If you are still tired of drinking water every day at work, we have some alternatives. You can add green tea to become hydrated at the same time! In addition, enrich it with cucumbers, ginger, lemon, lime or fresh strawberries for better taste or freeze some fruits of your choice and use them as ice cubes.
  • Install a water filter or a water purification system. Believe it or not, filtered water tastes better. Depending on the area you live in, there are suitable filters (with carbon, etc.) that meet your needs.
  • Drink water with a straw. As it is known, the straw helps us swallow more water.

In meals:

  • Eat foods rich in water such as watermelon in the summer, celery, tomatoes, zucchinis, eggplants, citrus fruits, seeds, rice and cereals.
  • Drink a glass of water before and after each meal and half a glass with each snack. This way you manage hunger as well as weight loss.

When you are out:

  • Dilute other drinks such as juices and iced tea and enjoy their taste with fewer calories.
  • Reduce caffeine. Caffeine has a diuretic effect, as a result of which the body loses more fluids.
  • Drink a glass of water after each glass of alcohol. It helps slow down the absorption of alcohol by the body.

I didn't use to drink much water, not because I did not like, but because I just neglected it. However, I started with these little tips and the truth is that I have seen a big difference in the quantities of water I consume. Why don't you try it?
