The activated carbon in the replacement filters is an entirely natural product that looks like a fine, odorless, tasteless, and non-toxic black powder. It is produced from coconut shell, making it very eco-friendly and environmentally friendly. It is heated in a controlled environment and in a vacuum to obtain its characteristic porous surface. These tiny holes, or pores, can increase the surface area of the carbon from 500 to 1500 m2/gr. Due to this treatment, it can absorb various substances that come into contact with it, in liquid or gas form, in quantities multiple times its weight. One cubic centimeter of activated carbon has the same surface area as a 50,000 square meter surface.

This depends on your available kitchen space and your needs. Countertop filters can be connected by yourself in seconds, but they take up space on the counter. Under-sink filters save counter space but usually require installation by a technician or plumber.
If your problem is just taste or odor, a single filter is enough. If you also have sediment, you need a double filter—first stage for sediment, second for carbon. If you have limescale, sediment, and bad taste, a triple filter is recommended. For wells, islands, or very challenging water, we suggest a reverse osmosis filter. If you’re not sure, just contact us!

Σημαντική βελτίωση της ποιότητας νερού (δεν έχει γεύση χώματος, όπως μετά από διακοπή νερού). Το μόνο "παράπονο" είναι πως το νερό έχει λίγο τη γεύση "πλαστικού". Φταίει άραγε το πλαστικό δοχείο του φίλτρου; Η γεύση εξαφανίζεται μετά από λίγη ώρα, αν δεν το πιούμε άμεσα ή αν το βάλουμε στο ψυγείο. Το θεωρώ όμως έλασσον και γι' αυτό αξίζει τα 5 αστέρια!!!

Σε λίγες μέρες θα συνηθίσετε τη γεύση αυτή του νερού που είναι πλέον καθαρό. Όπως και να χει, καλό είναι να αφήνετε το νερό να τρέχει για λίγα δευτερόλεπτα την πρώτη φορά που λειτουργείτε το φίλτρο κάθε μέρα προκειμένου να φύγει το στάσιμο νερό που παραμένει στο φίλτρο όσο δεν το λειτουργείτε.
