The Pleated Water Filter Cartridge Green Filter 10-50-BB is a high-capacity pleated polyester sediment filter designed specifically for 10" Big Blue housings (approx. 9 3/4" x 4.5"). Its large-diameter body and pleated surface provide exceptional dirt-holding capacity, long service life and reliable protection for your whole-house water filtration system.

50 Micron Coarse Sediment Filtration

This cartridge is rated at 50 µm nominal, making it ideal as a first-stage prefilter for removing coarse particles such as rust flakes, sand, silt and other visible sediment. By capturing these larger contaminants, it protects downstream carbon block filters, softening media and reverse osmosis membranes from rapid clogging.

Washable & Reusable Design

The robust non-woven polyester media is engineered for multiple cleaning cycles. When the filter becomes loaded with sediment, simply remove it from the housing and rinse the pleats under clean running water. This helps restore flow, extends the effective life of the cartridge and reduces replacement costs and plastic waste.

Big Blue Format for High Flow Rates
