Premium CB activated carbon filter cartridge:

Substances reduced by this filter according to European Certification EN ISO 14898:

  • Chlorine: At 4500 liters of water it reduces chlorine by 93.07% with a conductivity of 661 µS/cm2  and pH 7.5. For filter efficiency in terms of removal of chlorine the residual chlorine was checked at a concentration of 1ppm. The efficiency control of the filters as towards the removal of chlorine was done based on ISO EN 14898:2006+A1. At 2250 liters (half life of the filter), it reduces the chlorine by 95.26%.
  • Hardness: In 4500 liters of water it reduces the hardness by 23.95%.
  • Nitrates: In 4500 liters of water it reduces nitrates by 98.01%. Checked with nitrate concentration 201.58.
  • Lead in water with pH 6.5:. At 4500 liters of water it reduces lead by 95.48%. 
  • Lead in water with pH 8.5:. At 4500 liters of water it reduces lead by 95.89%. 
  • Aluminum in water with pH 6.5 and 8.5:. At 4500 liters of water it reduces Aluminum by 95.80%. 
  • Copper in water with pH 6.5 and 8.5:. At 4500 liters of water it reduces copper by 100%.


What is activated carbon:

Activated carbon is a completely natural product and visually appears as a fine, odorless, tasteless and non-toxic black powder. It can be produced from peat, bamboo, charcoal, wood, sawdust, coconut husk, olive kernels and other sources. It is heated in a controlled environment and in a vacuum to obtain its characteristic porous surface. These tiny holes or pores can increase the carbon surface area from 500 to 1500 m2/gr. Due to this treatment, it can and binds various substances that come into contact with it, in liquid or gaseous form and in quantities many times its weight. One cubic centimeter of activated carbon has the same area as a surface of 50,000 square meters. Of course, the activated carbon produced from coconut husk is the most ecological and environmentally friendly!

Πολύ καλό φίλτρο δεν έχει καθόλου την γευση του χλωριου το νέρο μου, θα το ξαναπροτιμήσω στην επομενη αλλαγη μου!

Ένα πολύ τίμιο φίλτρο. Το επέλεξα γιατί το κεραμικό που χρησιμοποιούσα μέχρι πρότινως ήθελε συνέχεια καθάρισμα και περίσσια υπομονή στο γέμισμα ποτηριου ή κανατας αν δεν ήμουν συνεπής στο καθάρισμα του.
Βέβαια δεν έφταιγε το φίλτρο αλλά το νερό της περιοχής μας που έχει πολύ στο χώμα. (Περιστέρι).
Μέχρι στιγμής με έχει κερδίσει η ευχρηστία του και η ποιότητα νερού που μας προσφέρει. Ελπίζω να πάει έτσι μέχρι να έρθει ο καιρός της αλλαγής του.

Πολύ ευχαριστημένος. Το χρησιμοποιώ τους τελευταίους μήνες. Σε σχέση με το κεραμικό που χρησιμοποιούσα για χρόνια εκτός την καλύτερη ροή που έχει, γευστικά με ικανοποιεί περισσότερο. Δεν ξέρω αν παίζει ρόλο η έλλειψη του κεραμικού σταδίου ή είναι τόσο άριστης ποιότητας ο άνθρακας και δίνει αυτό το αποτέλεσμα. Σίγουρα στην επόμενη αλλαγή μου αυτό θα επιλέξω.

Πολύ καλό!
Το νερό βγαίνει πραγματικά κρυστάλλινο.
Ανάλαφρο, χωρίς οσμές και πιο εύγεστο.
Πλεονεκτήματα που μας βοηθούν να πίνουμε περισσότερο νερό. Δεν ξέρω πώς είναι άλλα φίλτρα, αλλά πραγματικά μείναμε οικογενειακώς πολύ πολύ ευχαριστημένοι.
