Aquametix® is a patented combination of two types of activated carbon with Zeolite. Zeolites are combined with active carbon using special polymers to create an extremely compact and porous water filter that fits most commercial devices. CeraMetix® SP cleans water in 3 stages. In the first stage, there is the patented CeraCyl®, a ceramic material with embedded silver that removes cysts and pathogenic bacteria and prevents the development and mitosis of bacteria, while having the ability to self-sterilize. In the second stage, there is also the patented AquaMetix®, a combination of two types of activated carbon with Zeolite.
